Shaw to Exhibit in Vegas

Dalton, Ga. —

For the first time, Shaw Living has inked a lease for a temporary space at the upcoming Las Vegas Furniture Market, set for mid January.

"We have heard such positive things about not only the high traffic counts, but also the overall organization of the show," explained Jim Curtin, vp sales. "We know that it will be a success for our company."

The area rug supplier, which is the second largest in the country, posting $220 million in sales in 2005, already leases permanent showrooms in New York City, Atlanta, and High Point, N.C.

The new temporary space in Las Vegas is P10004 at World Market Center, 495 S. Grand Central Pkwy.

Kimberly Barta, brand manager, said, "The Las Vegas Furniture Market has quickly become a popular destination for retailers, especially those on the West Coast. We believe it is imperative that Shaw Living be in attendance to display our diverse product offering for those retailers."

At the market, Shaw will present several additions to its most popular branded collections, including Kathy Ireland Home, Tommy Bahama Home, Jack Nicklaus, William E. Poole, Mary Kate & Ashley, Museum of New Mexico, and Phillip Crowe.

Additionally, the company will unveil a new colorway of handmade-like qualities achieved through the use of various tones and organic hues to its Tommy Bahama and Shaw collections.

The Kathy Ireland brand will re-launch its Young Attitudes line with a new collection of tween and teen looks.

In related news, Shaw will expand its presence in Atlanta's AmericasMart in January when it moves into a 13,000-square-foot showroom, and also has plans to participate in several key regional markets in 2007.

"Our strategy is to make it as easy as possible for our customers to reach us and to learn more about what's going on in the marketplace in terms of trends and buying patterns," Barta said.
