Arlitex among award winners at show

NEW YORK —
Arlitex Textile Industries of Israel won the Best of Show Award at the 22nd semi-annual New York Home Textiles Show at the Jacob Javits Convention Center here last week.
The award was one of a number presented to exhibitors by show organizer George Little Management.
Other winners were Orim Co. (Japan) for a natural cotton baby towel, made from velvet yarn for softness in the soft bath category; Taymor Inds. (USA) for a magnetic soap holder in the hard bath category; Maison du Linge (USA) for a collection of tabletop accessories from original 18th century designs, made in France in the kitchen/table category; Casa dei Tesori (USA) for a handmade silk/acrylic macrame curtain made in Greece for the soft home accessories category; Prohansa Overseas (India) for handmade wood blinds from rattan and bamboo for hard home accessories; and Orunet (Japan) for a "Paws Only" organic cotton robe for dogs for home apparel; and Bedwear by Lee Wilder of The Lonsdale Group (Canada) for a decorative pillow sham in the bedding category.
