Bacova goes up the price ladder

HIGH POINT, N.C. — The Bacova Guild made several new floor covering introductions this New York Home Textiles Market, one of which hits the company's highest price point bracket yet.
The Wool collection marks two milestones for the company — its first 100 percent wool area rug offering and its top-of-the-line product. This collection fromIndiacomprises luxury 100 percent wool handmade area rugs that feature various types of yarns and lusters. They are set to retail for $399.99 for a 5-by-8. The collection's smallest size, 2-by-3, is priced at $49.99.On the other side of the price gamut, the company launched a new collection of anti-fatigue kitchen mats that employ a new stain-proof technology called Stain Stop. Available in 50 designs, these mats are set to retail for $14.99 for an 18-by-30 to $24.99 for a 2-by-3.Bacova continues to grow its offerings of imported rugs with the addition of a collection of machine-washable, hand-hooked acrylic and polyester scatter rugs from China. Available in about 30 novelty kitchen designs, these round-, rectangular-, and slice-shaped rugs are set to retail for $19.99.Also new this market is a collection of polypropylene patio rugs that drain water and are fade resistant. A 5-by-8 is set to retail for $50. The rugs come packaged in a plastic zipper bag with labels.
