MONTGOMERY, AL —
At the upcoming New York Home Textiles Show in October, Riverdale Decorative Products will introduce goods for three new licensing partnerships it recently forged, said Cheryl McLain, vp, marketing and merchandising.
For all the licenses, Riverdale, based here, will produce domestically made tapestry decorative pillows and will set its price points from $14.99 to $19.99. The collections will target mid-tier retailers and gift stores. Sizes will include 13" x 17" and 17" x 17".
The three licenses are:
-
Bloomington, IN-based InterArt Licensing's Susan Wheeler, a spring-themed license with "a sweet appeal," McLain said, that features bunnies, among other subjects;
-
North Hollywood, CA-based Rosenthal Represents' Ogdemli-Feldman property, which includes six designs featuring vintage motel and hotel signs inspired by old signs along Route 66, including patterns titled Stardust Motel, The Last Roundup, Timbers Lodge and Sandman Motel;
-
Mamaroneck, NY-based C.P. Licensing's Andrea Tachiera property, an upscale lodge and beach scene look for which Riverdale will launch six designs, including On The Pond, Beach Combing and On The Coast.
"Our fashion business is really taking off," McLain said. "We're becoming better known as a fashion house and not just for engineered tapestries."
Riverdale's licensing partnerships include Beatrix Potter, Paddington Bear, Giordano Art Ltd. and Mary Hughes, among more than a dozen others.
We would love your feedback!
