Jo-Ann opens new DC

VISALIA, CA — Jo-Ann Stores recently opened its 630,000-square-foot distribution center here to service the more than 300 Jo-Ann stores west of the Mississippi River.
The $40 million, state-of-the-art warehouse will employ around 180 people by the third quarter, which marks the beginning of the fabric and craft retailer's peak season.
With 949 Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft traditional stores and 58 Jo-Ann etc superstores, the company also operates a 1.1 million-square-foot DC at its headquarters in Hudson, OH.
