New York — Glenoit LLC recently announced several promotions within its Glenoit rug division.
Debbie Powell has been promoted to vice president, merchandising, and Bruce Batcheller to vice president, sales, responsible for all accounts with the exception of Wal-Mart.
They both joined the company in August, assigned to sales and marketing capacities, when Glenoit acquired the Design Network rug division from the now-defunct Cecil Saydah Company.
Powell and Batcheller report to Barry Leonard, president and CEO of Glenoit and Ex-Cell Home Fashions.
Also promoted was Erin Gallagher to sales manager from product manager, reporting to Batcheller.
In related news, Ron Benson, senior account manager for Wal-Mart, now reports to Leonard.
Benson previously reported to Mike McCullough, who was executive vice president but recently left the company.
We would love your feedback!
