NEW YORK — The New York chapter of the International Furnishings and Design Association (IFDA) will offer a glimpse at the future state of the industry, at a luncheon titled "Fast Forward: An Insiders Guide to the Future" on June 6 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. at the W New York Hotel.
Featured speakers will include renowned trend spotter Faith Popcorn, furniture industry analyst Jerry Epperson and economic advisor Pam Singleton from Merrill Lynch.
During the luncheon program, guests will hear both up-to-the-minute news and long-range views, ranging from business and financial industry analyses to what new trend might become the "cocooning" of the new millennium. What's more, palm readers will warm up the crowd with looks into their personal futures at the pre-program reception.
Admission is $65 for IFDA/NY members and $95 for non-members.
