Nutt moves up at Rich's/ Lazarus/Goldsmith's

ATLANTA — Rich's/Lazarus/Goldsmiths' named Gail Nutt as senior vp diversity, urban development reporting to Arnold Orlick, chairman and ceo, as of May 8.

The newly created position will further expand the retailer's existing focus on diversity initiatives relative to the work force and vendor community and create new opportunities for minority recruitment and executive development. In her new capacity, Nutt will advise Orlick and Rich's/Lazarus/ Goldsmith's president, David Nichols on ways to enhance the company's diversity program.

Nutt, who has most recently held the position of senior vp, urban business development, will continue to work within the retailer's apparel community to encourage the development of a strong-minority and operated vendor base and to educate all vendors on the merchandising preferences of urban-minded customers.
