Global Home Décor Set for Vegas

Building on the success of the Global Home Textiles event here, George Little Management (GLM) will launch a new sourcing show — Global Home Décor. The initial show will take place May 6-8, 2008 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, co-located with the next edition of Global Home Textiles.

"We are thrilled to add these product categories to our overall global business, and create a forum for home décor buyers and overseas suppliers to connect and nurture business-building relationships," said Penny Sikalis, vp, GLM.

The shows will co-locate with two other home products events, GLM's Gourmet Housewares Show and Reed Exhibition's National Hardware Show (Reed Exhibitions is part of HTT's parent firm Reed Elsevier).

GLM said that for the debut event, "Participation from countries including Brazil, China, Columbia, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Poland, Portugal, South Africa, Thailand, and Vietnam, among others, is anticipated."
