Duckwall-ALCO Names Top Merchant

Abilene, Kan. —

Midwestern general merchandiser Duckwall-ALCO has named Ronald Mapp svp of merchandising, Reporting to president and ceo Bruce Dale.

Williams has more than 30 years of specialty store experience, including executive posts at craft and fabric chains Michaels Stores and Jo-Ann Stores.

Lauding his background, Dale noted that Williams "understands the processes and will be able to leverage our new technology to continue the positive changes in our merchandising strategy."
