QVC, Macy’s veteran to head ShopNBC

Minneapolis – ShopNBC has hired Bob Ayd as president, overseeing merchandising, planning, programming, broadcast operations, and on-air talent.

He reports to ceo Keith Stewart.

In Ayd’s 30-year career, he most recently served as executive vp and chief merchandising officer after previously holding the positions senior vp of design development, global sourcing and brand development, and senior vp of jewelry and fashion at QVC. Earlier in his career, at Macy's, Ayd held a number of executive positions, including senior vp of women's sportswear.
