Waples to Head Retail Sales at AbsolutelyNew

AbsolutelyNew Inc., which helps inventors turn their ideas into consumer products, has appointed Greg Waples vp of retail sales.

He was svp of global sales for Jarden Corp.’s leisure and entertainment division. At the $6 billion publicly traded company, which owns brands such as Sunbeam and First Alert, he led worldwide sales for the Bee and Bicycle playing cards brands and various crafts product brands.

In his new stint, Waples works remotely from Memphis, Tenn. He reports to evp Bill Feroe.
