Natura acquires NexGel

Cambridge, Ontario – Mattress, pillow and utility bedding manufacturer Natura World has acquired NexGel, manufacturer of mattresses, toppers and pillows made from Ortho-Gel technology.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“We’re excited to be embarking on this new venture as the manufacturer of NexGel bedding products because of how the technology aligns with our mission statement," said Ralph Rossdeutscher, president of Natura.

Ortho-Gel used a honeycomb of hollow columns to provide higher support in pressure point areas and lighter, ergonomic support in areas such as the thighs and lower back.
