Hancock Promotes Smith

Baldwyn, Miss. — Hancock Fabrics, Inc. has promoted Bruce Smith to the position of executive vice president, chief financial officer, reporting to Jane Aggers, CEO.
Smith has served as senior vice president, chief financial officer, since March 1997.
Aggers was named to her post on Jan. 31.
She is a long-time executive in the fabric retailing business, with 24 years at Jo-Ann Stores, Inc.
As chief marketing, merchandising and supply chain officer, Aggers led strategic initiatives, product development, merchandising, sourcing, supply chain management and communications strategies of the Jo-Ann brand.
