Jo-Ann Stores Elevates Smith

Craft and fabric retailer Jo-Ann Stores has promoted Travis Smith from evp merchandising and marketing to chief operating officer; he will continue to report to chairman, president and ceo Darrell Webb.
Smith joined Jo-Ann in 2006; he continues to direct merchandising, marketing, product sourcing and inventory management, and takes on store operations and supply chain logistics.
Prior to coming to Jo-Ann, Smith was a veteran of supercenter chain Fred Meyer, where he was svp and gmm.
