Williams Resigns as Waverly President

By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 10/10/2005 12:00:00 AM

Dale Williams has resigned as president of Waverly Lifestyle Group and has been succeeded by Dan Bonini, who will add the Waverly responsibilities to his existing position as president of FSC Wallcoverings, another division of parent company F. Schumacher & Co.

Bonini also will be responsible for the licensing of the Waverly Home Fashions products with the licensees that are expected to be announced shortly, according to Gerry Puschel, Schumacher CEO.

The union of FSC and Waverly is being done to “create better synergies between the two divisions that are basically retail oriented,” Puschel explained.

Waverly will continue to design and produce its fabric collection as well as license these designs to the new licensees, he said.

Williams joined the company in 2002 from Springs where he was senior vice president, global sourcing and international marketing.

Earlier, he was a senior executive at WestPoint Stevens.
