KAS to fete 25th anniversary

SOMERSET, N.J. – KAS Oriental Rugs, a supplier of imported hand-made and machine-made rugs, will celebrate its 25th anniversary in January. The company will hold a special celebration on Jan. 20 during the Atlanta International Area Rug market.

KAS started as a small importer of dhurries and hand-knotted rugs from India, China and Pakistan. It now carries more than 45 collections of hand-tufted, hand-knotted and machine-made rugs from India, China, Belgium and elsewhere, with showrooms in New York, Atlanta and High Point, N.C. and a presence in Las Vegas at the Surfaces Show.
