Orian Rugs 'sizes' up scatter rug market

Orian Rugs will add two scatter rug sizes to three of its existing lines this market, in order to accommodate the more popular sizes in the market, said David Starr, national sales manager.

The new sizes of 20" x 33" and 31" x 45" will be available in Orian's Majestic collection, its entry-level polypropylene group; Enchantment, its two-ply heatset group; and Interlude, its high-end woven group. The color palette has also expanded for spring with seven new shades that will complement many bed and bath programs.

The technique used to manufacture these jacquard woven polypropylene rugs gives them the appearance of a printed or cotton scatter product, he said, and the price points are competitive with those types of rugs.

Across the three ranges, the 20" x 33" rug will retail from $9.99 to $24.99, and the 31" x 45" rug will be $24.99 to $49.99.

In addition, Orian Rugs will add onyx to the color palette of its Interlude collection.
