Atlanta — Wools of New Zealand (WONZ) has released its latest color forecast and trend collection for carpets and rugs, a service it provides annually to its brand partners.
WONZ said the 2007 report, titled Arabesque, comprises colors and styles that are a full year ahead of current trends, and can be used by manufacturers to create fashion-forward WONZ-branded floor coverings.
A total of 36 shades make up the Arabesque palette under the Out of Africa theme, which is broken down into five groups: Sanctuary, Oasis, Casbah, Savanna and Rainforest. Schemes include whiter shades of pale, mid-tones, ethnic and cool brights and eclectic greens, enhanced by true primary accents.
The forecast was prepared by the creative group at WONZ's design and development center in Ilkley, West Yorkshire, England.
We would love your feedback!
