Increased attendance results in more exhibit space

Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 12/4/2000 12:00:00 AM

MENDRISIO, SWITZERLAND -The rising popularity of Scoperta has forced the organizers to expand the floor space available for next year's interior textile show.

According to a statement released by Trade Link Company, organizers of the show, based here, stand reservations have exceeded the size of Scoperta 2000 prompting them to add 1,000 square meters of exhibition space for Scoperta 2001.

"For interior textile shows, temporary structures have proved extremely popular with the exhibitors, and we are sure that Scoperta will benefit from the additional space and increased flexibility of this arrangement," said Kristina Lucas, show manager. "A number of key exhibitors have already expressed the wish to move to the new hall, and we are confident that other exhibitors will also be delighted with this option."

A meeting organized by Trade Link for exhibitors will also be held in Kortrijk, Belgium, at the end of this month to discuss new plans for Scoperta as well as an improved package for both exhibitors and visitors.
