Abyss jazzes up towels

WINDSOR, N.J. — Portuguese-based luxury bath towel manufacturer Abyss will introduce Jazz, a two-tone contrast bias towel later this summer for the New York International Gift Fair, held Aug. 15 to 19 at the Jacob Javits Center.

A 500-gram, 100 percent Egyptian cotton loop towel, Jazz is durable, absorbent and low-lint, the company said, adding that the towels tend to be lighter, more fluid and dry faster than others. Due to a production and finishing process developed by Abyss, the bias shrinks at the same rate as the towel, preventing puckering from taking place, the company said.
