Corso takes helm at Cotton Line

Cotton Line Inc., which manages sales in the western hemisphere for textiles manufacturer KBI Mills, has appointed David Corso as president and CEO.

The company's founder, Tariq Cheema, will assume new responsibilities managing production and delivery for KBI's textiles operations in Pakistan, Germany, Australia, Turkey, Hong Kong, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and the United Arab Emirates.

The company has appointed Rod Maksimovic director of marketing. He will oversee creative marketing, branding and customer-relationship-management strategies.

Corso was previously an executive manager in charge of marketing and pricing in North America for Asahi Seiko, a public Japanese manufacturer.

Maksimovic was previously an executive marketing manager in the industrial field with Bodine Electric Company; and in the healthcare industry with Dade Behring, Johnson & Johnson Hospital Services and Technicon/Bayer Diagnostics.
