Loloi moves into new High Point showroom

-- Home Textiles Today, 10/13/2009 12:38:00 PM

Dallas – For better exposure and closeness to retailer traffic, Loloi Rugs has moved its showroom at High Point into a shared space with home accent product company Stratton.

Formerly operating a showroom at 224 Kivett St. in a storefront facility, Loloi’s new High Point space is at D-320 in the International Home Furnishings Center.

"We are responding to the needs of our customers," explained Amir Loloi, founder and president of the rug importing company. "While we enjoyed our time at the Kivett Street location, the traffic patterns at the IHFC are more efficient for both our staff and our customers' shopping schedules."

In related news, Loloi is launching a new outdoor rug variety – a machine-made collection – at the market. While the company has focused in the past on handmade outdoor styles that retail for $249 to $299, the new Zeina collection represents Loloi’s first machine-made variety for the category. It is set to retail more promotionally, at $138. It encompasses 14 transitional designs.

“Zeina is the closest thing to a hand-hooked indoor/outdoor product we’ve seen in the market today, but it is machine-made,” Loloi said.
