JLA Home Adds Showroom Space

JLA Home is expanding its showroom presence here with the addition of the third and fourth floors at 11 East 26 St.
The firm now holds the entire second floor of the building and is relinquishing its space on a large segment of the sixth floor.
"The move will allow us three contiguous floors and enable us to properly showcase our expanding array of brands and products," said Scott Howard, vp, sales. The new showroom area is expected to be ready for the March 2010 New York Home Fashions Market.
Net, the move will approximately double the space the company now has here for showroom and office space, Howard added.
"Our business has been strong, and the real estate market here has made this a favorable time to expand," he said.
With the expansion, the company will have appropriate space for its licensed brands that include Natori, Echo, and Robert Allen@Home as well as its furniture line that is being expanded from China-only distribution to the United States market, Howard related. In addition, there will be accent furniture pieces for the Natori program.
