Famous Home taps Murray

MONTREAL —

Bath products supplier Famous Home Fashions recently hired Monika Murray to the new position of sales and product development manager for the U.S. market.

Murray was formerly an associate bath buyer for Bed Bath and Beyond.

The company created the post as part of an effort to expand its presence in the U.S. market and offer improved customer service.

Reporting to Barry Samberg, president, she will be based at the company's New York showroom and offices at 230 Fifth Avenue in suite 1312.

In other company news, Famous will be unveiling at the upcoming New York market two new labels/ house brands — Famous 5th Avenue and "Innovations." The company's existing house brand is "Fashions Home Fashions." Also new this September will be Famous's launch of metal bathroom hardware.
