Service Held for Industry Vet

Los Angeles — Paul Billig, an industry veteran of over 40 years, died earlier this month; he was remembered in a ceremony at Sholom Memorial Park in Sylmar, Calif.

Billig started his career with United Merchants selling piece goods and later worked for Croscill for 20 years, establishing its West Coast operations. For the last 15 years, he represented firms including TexStyle, Ex-Cell, Spring Valley Floral, and Eagle Textile. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested a donation to The American Heart Association.
