Hancock Fabrics promotes Abraham to operations post

Baldwyn, Miss. -- Hancock Fabrics has named Dean Abraham senior vp, store operations, reporting to ceo Jane Aggers. In an overhaul of the field management and store operations structure, Abraham will have three regional vps reporting to him, along with a newly created position, vp of business development.
Abraham has been with the 442-store home décor and crafts retailer for 36 years, most recently as svp merchandising. A national search for a new svp, merchandising has started. Meanwhile the vps of the fashion, notions, home and quilting merchandise areas will report directly to Aggers.
