Big Lots breaks ground on DC

Columbus, OH — Broadline closeout retailer Big Lots broke ground last week at the site of its new distribution center in Durant, OK. Located on 118 acres, the 1.2 million square foot DC has an anticipated completion date of late 2003 and will be the fifth DC for Big Lots.
The facility will service 214 stores in 14 states throughout the south-central United States, and is expected to create up to 500 new jobs.
