New York –The FireDefender Sleep System by Louisville Bedding was recently awarded the Good Buy Award from Good Housekeeping, in recognition of its fire retarding qualities that help save lives.
Good Housekeeping announced its winners – Louisville Bedding and several others in the home product arena – for this 13th annual award at the Good Housekeeping Research Institute here last month. The Good Buy Award winners are featured in the January 2008 issue of the magazine.
The FireDefender mattress pad is a way to foil the more than 20,000 mattress fires each year -- a leading cause of death from fire in children under the age of five, Good Housekeeping noted.
FireDefender slows burning time to 30 minutes, creating a window for victims to escape. It retails for between $120 and $200.
Anyway the safe of children is serious promble all of the world, it is the responsiblity of the society and related industry. we should do our best, the award is not just award, also it is obligation! I hope FireDefender get know it deeply. Congratulation to FireDefender!
