Peking Handicraft Adds Vintage-Look Christmas Line

Peking Handicraft's home décor and gift division has partnered with artist Lynn Haney to create a holiday collection of vintage Santa-themed looks for decorative pillows and Christmas stockings.

Since 1987, Haney has created a sculpted clay and hand-painted line of Santa Claus figurines. Now the designs are being interpreted by Peking in a wool and cotton needlepoint construction.

Components include assorted sizes and shapes of dec pillows, including 14-inch squares and 12-inch-by-16-inch rectangles, as well as several 11-inch-by-18-inch stockings.

Themes include Santa as well as Frosty the Snowman, teddy bears, and winter icons like snowflakes and holly plants.

The collection will debut this summer at Peking's showrooms here and in Atlanta, New York and Chicago.
