BlueLight.com names new chief

San Francisco — Serving as temporary ceo since May, Richard Blunck has become the new ceo of BlueLight.com, the wholly owned subsidiary of Kmart, and will lead the web site's eCommerce and ISP businesses. He reports to Randy Allen, Kmart's evp, strategic initiatives, who sits on Bluelight's board of directors.
Blunck joined Kmart in 1999 as chief technology and eBusiness officer, responsible for Kmart's information technology strategy and architecture as well as technology research and development. He was also involved with crafting Kmart's eBusiness and business-to-business strategy.
He replaces Mark Goldstein, who left in May.
