CINCINNATI —
Federated Department Stores has been chosen as one of the "Top 30 Companies for Executive Women" by the National Association for Female Executives.
Federated placed No. 11 of the hundreds of companies evaluated, up from No. 23 last year, besting all other retailers on the list.
According to NAFE, this year's competition was made tougher by including the number of women in operating jobs with profit-and-loss responsibility. At Federated, more than 60 percent of managers are women; in senior management, more than 50 percent are women, many in P&L roles.
Three other retailers made the list: Target, No.17; Sears, No.19; and Office Depot, No. 29.
We would love your feedback!
