IFDA to Sponsor Art Collecting Seminar

At the New York Market — The International Furnishings and Design Association (IFDA) will present New Directions in Collecting: 20th Century Decorative Art and Design, an insider's view into the art world today and the principles of building a private collection.
Presenter Daniella Ohad Smith is on the faculty of Parsons School of Design and serves on the acquisitions committees of several New York City Museums.
The session will be held Tuesday, Aug.22, 2006 with networking and cocktails at 6 p.m. and the presentation at 7 p.m.
Location: the showroom of Country Home and Comfort, 43 West 22nd Street (between 5th and 6th Avenues).
