Correction: Ginn out at American Blanket

Dalton, GA — American Blanket Corp., an importer and marketer of high-pile blankets and throws, will remain in operation, working alongside its sister company, United Weavers, and will not be closed, as reported in the Nov. 13 edition of HTT Extra.

John Ginn, former vp and a co-founder of American Blanket, has left the two-year-old American Blanket, and his position has been eliminated. Diane Carleo, director of marketing for sister company United Weavers, is also director of marketing for American Blanket.

"Our luxury acrylic blanket and throws have been well received by the American marketplace, and will continue to be supplied not only through American Blanket Corp., but will also now be available through United Weavers of America," said Carleo.
