Glen Raven Custom Fabrics taps Hankins

Vince Hankins has been named director of new business development for Glen Raven Custom Fabrics, the makers of Sunbrella performance fabrics.

In the newly-created position, Hankins will be responsible for the identification and development of new product and new market opportunities for Glen Raven Custom Fabrics. Hankins, who previously worked for Glen Raven Inc. with its Yarn Group, will report to Harry Gobble, director of marketing.

Hankins has more than 19 years experience in the textile industry. He was previously with Unifi as sales manager for its nylon business.
