Prestige named Louis de Poortere favorite

LONG ISLAND CITY, N.Y. -- Prestige Mills Inc. has been appointed the exclusive North American distributor of all floor covering products by Belgium manufacturer Louis de Poortere (LDP).
Prestige, a manufacturer and importer of carpets and rugs, comprises three divisions -- Concepts International, Prestige Mills and Weave-Tuft Carpets. It is adding LDP as a new division.
As part of this new venture, LDP will focus on improving its weaving facility in Belgium and turning over its marketing and sales distribution to Prestige Mills.
Prestige is bringing on board LDP Eddie Hollier as national sales manager and Sara Grunewald as office manager.
