QVC Names Merch Chief

West Chester, Pa. —

Randy Ronning has been named to the new post of executive vice president and chief merchandising officer of QVC.

His appointment is part of a new strategy that combines the merchandising of QVC and QVC.com. He joined the company in 2001 as executive vice president for QVC.com, reporting to Darlene Daggett, president of U.S. commerce.

In his new post — he continues to report to Daggett — Ronning is responsible for merchandising and Internet.
