Kohl’s creates new post for Filene’s/Kaufmann’s ceo Kingsbury

Menomonee Falls, Wis. — Kohl's has hired Tom Kingsbury for a newly created position, senior executive vp; he will join the company in August. Kingsbury, a 30-year retail veteran, was most recently president and ceo of Filene's/Kaufmann's, the largest division of the former May Department Stores.

Kingsbury will oversee store operations and information technology, reporting directly to chairman and ceo Larry Montgomery. Kingsbury also will join Kohl’s coo Arlene Meier and president Kevin Mansell as a principal of the company.
