Riverdale names nat'l sales mgr.

AT THE NEW YORK MARKET —

Decorative pillow manufacturer Riverdale Decorative Products has promoted Cheryl McLain to national sales manager.

She replaces Bud Edie, who left the company last week to join rug manufacturer Homefires in a sales position. The exact title was not available at press time.

McLain's new post is in addition to her existing position as vp, merchandising and marketing.

She has been with Riverdale for the past six-and-a-half years. She joined the company as a marketing assistant and worked her way up the ranks.

Prior to that, she was area sales manager for Dillard's in Beaumont, TX, and later for McCrea's in Montgomery, AL.

Also, Lucy Hanson, who was assisting McLain in the design department, has been promoted to designer for decorative pillows.
