WARREN, PA At its annual meeting, Blair Corp., the catalog and Internet retailer, announced the appointment of Craig Johnson, an incumbent director, as chairman, and Michael Schuler, president and ceo, Donerail Investments, as a new director.

In addition, four directors retired.

A director of Blair since 1997, Johnson succeeds Murray McComas as chairman, who has served on the board for 26 years. McComas, who retired as president of the company in 1999, will remain a director.

A former managing director and partner of Glenthorne Capital, Philadelphia, Johnson serves as advisory director for the investment banking company, which specializes in mergers and acquisitions.

Robert Blair and Blair Smoulder will retire from the board and have previously retired from active management with the company. Kent Sivillo will also retire after 30 years with the company, effective May 30. David Blair also retired, though he remains an employee of the company.
