HFPA meeting rescheduled

NEW YORK -The HFPA annual meeting, postponed by inclement weather last week, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 20. The meeting will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Fashion Institute of Technology, 27th Street and 8th Avenue, New York, in Building A, in the Faculty Dining Room on the 8th floor.
The meeting will consist of reports from the association president and treasurer. Their addresses will be followed by a legal counsel report on flammability testing, care labeling enforcement, trade compliance, customs compliance and quota phase out.
The following committees also will issue reports: membership, HomeTex, issues & answers, Retailer of the Year and scholarship.
The meeting will conclude with elections.
