WHITE PLAINS, NY —
After an initial launch last market, the Rug Pavilion at the New York Home Textiles Show next month will more than double in size and feature close to 40 area rug resources.
The pavilion, to be highlighted on the show floor by an enhanced 10-ft. high booth package with special signage, will include the debut of several new vendors, including Asha Carpets, Jefferson Industries, Mahestan Carpet Co. and Royal Intercontinental.
"By presenting area rug resources in one streamlined division of the show, the Rug Pavilion helps facilitate the market experience of vendors and retailers focused on this growth category," said Penny Sikalis, vp and group manager, George Little Management, which runs the textiles show. "We expect the Rug Pavilion to become an important market venue within New York."
The fall home textiles show will run Oct. 11 to 14 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center.
