Fishman takes post at L&L

NEW YORK —

Elise Fishman has been named director of marketing for L & L Acquisitions, LLC, the new owners of 261 Fifth Ave. — home to many of the industry's showrooms.

For the past 17 years, Fishman was executive director of 230 Fifth Ave., where many high-end and luxury home textiles companies rent showroom space. Prior to working at 230 Fifth Ave., Fishman was a manufacturer's representative in the gift and home fashions industry.

Fishman is also a promotional real estate broker and a founding member of New York Showrooms Coalition, involving 225 Fifth Ave., 41 Madison Ave. and 230 Fifth Ave.

In her new stint, Fishman will be responsible for the marketing and special events for the L & L portfolio, initially focusing on 261 Fifth Ave., to create strong brand awareness for the building. She is currently in the process of creating a building directory for buyers who visit, the building and a buyers registration database.

L & L Acquisitions, LLC, is a New York City landlord and developer.

The two principals of the company are David Levinson — to whom Fishman reports — and Robert Lapidus.
