Bellegarde promoted at The Sharper Image

New York – The Sharper Image has promoted Federico de Bellegarde to senior vp, licensing. He was previously vp, licensing.

After an 18-year career at the former Sharper Image organization, de Bellegarde joined the new Sharper Image in June 2008. The current company, which owns the intellectual property of the now-defunct retail chain, is owned by a joint venture between Bluestar Alliance, Hilco Consumer Capital and Gordon Brothers Group.

“As we continue to build on our existing licensee foundation, we remain committed to selecting license partners able to develop unique and compelling products deserving of The Sharper Image brand name and heritage,” saidde Bellegarde.

As it continues to add U.S. licensees, the company this year will also expand its international outreach.
