Natco execs shuffled to new posts

Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 4/15/2002 12:00:00 AM

AT THE NEW YORK MARKET After having acquired the Sanford, ME-based Flemish Master Weavers rug mill as an avenue to domestically manufacture a line of Oriental area rugs, Natco Products Corp. assigned some existing executives to new and, in some cases, additional posts.

"It is a tremendous undertaking for us, but I am sure we have the capabilities to make this a valuable addition to our growing company," said Michael Litner, president. "With this acquisition, I have made some changes in the Oriental rug product category for Natco and Central Oriental that are designed to take the workload off me and [put it] onto others for 'Orientals'."

Mark Ferullo, president of Natco's Central Oriental division, will oversee the entire product assortment of the Oriental Rug Division — consisting of all area rug collections for Natco, Central Oriental and Flemish Master Weavers, which will become part of the basic offerings of Natco and Central Oriental. He will report directly to Litner.

Lynne Manning will be responsible for all purchasing for Central Oriental and product coordination for Oriental rugs and will retain her duties as vp of Central Oriental.

Steve Roan, vp of sales for Central Oriental, will be in charge of all Central Oriental sales representatives and the distribution of products in their marketplace. He will assist in product selection and sales strategy.

Frank Blair will assume the role of national sales manager of Oriental rugs for Natco. He will be in charge of all Oriental rug sales for Natco and assist in the handmade assortment for the Oriental division.

Kate Murphy will continue her duties as designer.

Cliff Karten will be responsible for product procurement and inventory maintenance for all Oriental rugs, working in conjunction with Ferullo and Manning.

Joanie Jutras will coordinate all administrative functions for Orientals and Central Oriental.
