By Cecile B. Corral -- Home Textiles Today, 1/29/2001 11:40:00 AM

DALTON, Ga. — The Carpet and Rug Institute (CRI), in an effort "to increase members' growth and profitability," has announced new appointments in its staff.

Jerry Hullander, formerly the controller, has been promoted to cfo, as well as director of customer satisfaction. Hullander has spent the past 11 years working for CRI.

"We are pleased Jerry is taking on these added duties," said Werner Braun, president of CRI. "He will be an asset in this position."

Charlott Coker, presently the customer information manager, will also become human resources manager. She joined CRI 1994.

Ann Jones, administrative assistant for IAQ testing for technical services, will also assume additional duties in customer information.

Linda Harrington, administrative assistant to the office manager, will also now be responsible for gathering statistics and distribution.

New staff members include: Barbara Day, administrative assistant for customer satisfaction; Ryan Williams, information technologies manager; and Tim Young, controller.

Retiring from CRI is Betty Hickman, who recently completed 30 years of service to CRI.

Hickman joined CRI following the merger of the Tufted Textile Manufacturers Association and the American Carpet Institute. She is the longest tenured employee.
