New York —
Richard Hanfling has been named president of Swavelle Mill Creek Fabrics.
Hanfling — formerly a corporate vice president who has been with the company since 1989 — succeeds Jeff Thomases who retains his position as CEO.
Calling Hanfling “a vital part of the organization,” Thomases pointed to his focus on creating the print line for the jobber, furniture and retail divisions, the growth of the contract business, the introduction of the Raymond Waites licensed fabric program, the purchase of Textile Fabric Association, and the creation of Bravo Fabrics International.
