LONDON -The White House will expand its luxury bed and bath line this market, some additions being shown in the United States for the first time.
Maestro is a brand new collection for bed and bath that features a diamond textured pattern. The towels, with the diamond pattern on a dobby border, are a weighty 750 grams per square meter. Available in the classic colors of white, vanilla and putty, they come in five generous sizes: a 12-inch square face cloth, a 16" x 32" guest/hand towel, a 26" x 53" bath towel (retailing for approximately $60), a 36" x 63" bath sheet, a 63" x 75" extra-large bath sheet ($200 retail) and a 24" x 40" velour bath mat.
The coordinating Maestro bedding uses the diamond shape on high-thread-count bed linens. A queen sheet will retail for approximately $350, a queen duvet for $495 and a standard sham for $70.
In The White House bedding collection, the Three Row Hemstitch Linen bedding line will be shown in the U.S. for the first time, having debuted at the Maison d'Objet show. On a ground of pristine white, the linens are finished with three rows of traditional hemstitching, offered in three colors: white, hyacinth blue or charcoal gray. A queen sheet will retail for about $495.
The Morse and Manhattan bed collections also debuted in Paris and will be seen here. Morse uses simple embroidered dashes and dots for a minimalist look, and is available in cotton percale pillowcases, sheets and duvet covers, as well as wool mix boucle bedspreads and Euro squares. A queen sheet will retail for $295.
Manhattan is reminiscent of English shirting fabric, in either classic blue chambray partnered with marine or steel with charcoal. A modern look, the line is available in duvet covers, sheets and pillowcases. A queen sheet will retail for $240.
The Three Row Hemstitch Linen, Morse and Manhattan bed linens all coordinate with one another.
