Jo-Ann Hires svps of marketing and merchandising

 

Hudson, Ohio – Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores has hired two industry veterans to lead the company’s marketing and merchandising divisions.
Effective immediately, Jim Wright will serve as the svp, marketing and advertising, and Megan Featherston will fill the role of svp, merchandising.
“Over the course of their careers, Jim and Megan have proven themselves to be accomplished leaders in an ever-changing retail environment, and I am confident their knowledge and abilities will help us deliver an enhanced shopping experience for our customers,” said Riddi Kline, evp, marketing and merchandising.
Wright was most recently svp, marketing, at Express, where he was responsible for brick-and-mortar and e-commerce advertising and marketing strategies. Wright will oversee the advertising, corporate communications, creative services and marketing teams.
Featherston was recently president of the fine jewelry business unit at Sears Holdings Corporation. She will oversee the inventory management, merchandising, product development and sourcing, and visual presentation teams.
