Messina and Zucker has moved into dec pillows in a big way with upwards of 70 new styles, while also offering new looks in bedding and sheets sets.
The fun pillow collections include: Bright Lights, soft and squeezable pillows in fashion brights, checks and stripes; Nappy Pals that open up into nap pillows for children; Fun-A-Muls, a novelty animal-shaped pillow collection. Featured animals include happy frog, cuddly pig, huggy chicken, happy crabby and snuggle swan. A full line of fashion futon covers in bold solids and casual prints and geometrics are also available
“We feel that decorative pillows are a growth area and natural adjunct to our bedding business,” said Clyde Zucker, company president.
The company's approximately 30 new fashion bedding offerings feature bold stripes, mid-tone geometrics, plaid and dots in various styles and colors in a variety of fabrications and combinations. The new styles will include: Tatina, Renee and Wendy.
Tatina features a luxury printed satin with embroidery; Renee is a luxury satin and suede combination with buttons and embroidery; and Wendy is pieced satin and taffeta with buttons and embroidery. The looks are being offered in comforter sets and bed-in-a-bags with 220-count cotton-sateen sheeting. In addition, 15 new prints have been added to the bed-in-a-bag program. There are also six to eight new colors in microfiber comforters.
The company is also adding six colors to its basic 200-count luxury percale solid-color sheet program. Eyelets in both 200-count and luxury 310-count are among the expansion, as well as 310-count all-over-jacquard sheet sets, 500-count sateen sheet sets with jacquard hems, and 600-count woven-stripe-sateen sheet sets. A 1,000-count two-ply sheet set will also be added.
